Ellen Dotselaere provides psychological services, including therapy for (young) adults, psychodiagnostics, and holistic therapeutic approaches. Services are offered in-person and online. Please note that our services do not constitute emergency or crisis intervention.
3. Eligibility & Client Responsibilities
- Clients must be 18 years or older unless parental consent is provided for minors.
- Clients must provide accurate and complete information during consultations.
- Clients engaging in online therapy are responsible for ensuring a private and secure environment for sessions.
4. Confidentiality & Data Protection
- All client information is kept confidential except in cases where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm, child abuse, court orders).
- We comply with GDPR regulations regarding the collection, storage, and processing of personal data. Clients have the right to access, correct, or delete their data. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
5. Booking, Cancellations & Fees
- Sessions are booked in advance, subject to availability.
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment; otherwise, the planned appointment will be charged.
- Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the booking process. No refunds are provided for completed sessions.
6. Code of Conduct & Ethics
- Our practice adheres to professional guidelines set by the Belgian Commission of Psychologists.
- Clients are expected to communicate respectfully. Any form of harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services.
7. Limitations of Liability
- Psychological services are provided to support mental well-being but do not guarantee specific outcomes.
- Online therapy sessions may be subject to technical issues, and we are not liable for any disruptions or security breaches.
8. Emergency & Crisis Situations
- Our services are not suitable for immediate crises or emergencies.
- If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline in your area.
9. Intellectual Property & Website Use
- All website content, including text, resources, and materials, is for informational purposes only and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
- Website content is not a substitute for professional psychological advice.
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through mediation before legal action.
- These terms are governed by Belgian law.
